Lisa A. Sullivan
independent Consultant

Lisa has been involved in the field of public relations and marketing for over twenty years both in a freelance capacity and through full-time employment with such companies as Coastal Credit UnionFonville Morisey Realty and as an employee of WNCN in Raleigh, North Carolina.

As a member of the Community Outreach team, she was part of a ground-breaking project that brought WNCN to a whole new dimension of news coverage for the local market – MyNC.com.  Her role was to secure User Generated Content (UGC) from members of the community while at the same time providing her own editorial content whenever the need arose.

In her role as the Digital Media Marketing Director for Fonville Morisey corporate, she served over 12 branch offices, and 700 agents. Her job was three-fold. She was the main content provider for all of their corporate social platforms, she instructed Fonville's agents and brokers on successful social media engagement, and alongside their marketing department, she assisted in securing new digital avenues for the company as a whole. Lisa had a BIG job and she loved every minute of it!

At Coastal Credit Union, she served as the Public Relations Specialist where she was largely responsible for Coastal’s social and digital media efforts as well as provided public relations support for various corporate marketing campaigns.  As the role evolved, she acted as a marketing liaison for each of the four major corporate sponsorships Coastal partnered in. This often included onsite marketing as well as event planning and execution.

In her most recent role as Insight Data Analyst for Boston-based WEVO Conversion, Lisa analyzed data from various sources generated by proprietary WEVO questionnaires, and then provided expert feedback in the form of written high level key findings to WEVO customers who may be getting ready to launch new/revamped websites, landing pages, email campaigns, etc. This role allowed her to gain a new skill set that will be valuable in various capacities going forward.

Lisa's digital prowess takes her into the philanthropic world having served on the Boards of the Johnston Community College Foundation as well as the Garner Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Advisory Board. In Garner, she served one term as Vice Chair and two as Chair.  She continues to share knowledge of the digital space through speaking engagements when she is able.

Prior to entering the digital marketing realm, she spent many years as an English Teacher in both the public and private sectors.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, the arts, going to the beach, being a spectator at local sporting events, and participating in local charity 5K runs. Her cat, Cotton Kitty, is her pride and joy.
